The Nebraska Humane Society provides licensing services for Bellevue, Gretna, La Vista, Omaha (includes areas in Douglas County up to three miles outside the Omaha city limits), Papillion, Ralston, Springfield, Unincorporated Sarpy County and Waterloo.
Service Animal, Potentially Dangerous, Dangerous and Mini Pig licenses may not be purchased online.

As you license your pet, be sure to look for the question marks () next to certain fields.
These pop-ups will provide additional information to guide you through the licensing process.

If your pet has been issued a permanent license tag in the past, you will not receive another tag.
When licensing online, you will NOT receive a mailed receipt if all licensing requirements have been met. You will receive a receipt by mail only if additional information or documentation is required or if a new tag is issued.
**You will receive an email confirmation that your credit card payment has processed.**
